NEWS STORY

Formula 1 has announced that award-winning comedian, actor, and writer Jack Whitehall has become an official Friend of F1, marking the next chapter of his relationship with the sport and demonstrating its growing influence across entertainment and popular culture.

Over the last few years Whitehall has been part of multiple F1 race weekends, featuring at Silverstone, Miami and Montreal Grands Prix, in addition to taking the lead presenter role at the sport's F1 Las Vegas Business Summit and the landmark show F1 75 Live at The O2.

His humour, storytelling and distinct style elevated the first of its kind event, showcasing a unique angle of the sport to tens of millions of fans all around the world. Whitehall's new partnership with Formula 1 will see him play an ever-greater role across race weekends, bringing his effortless charisma and humour to events and activations held across the sport.

As Formula 1 continues to expand its footprint at the intersection of sport, entertainment, and lifestyle, the partnership with Jack highlights F1's ability to resonate far beyond the track. With both Formula 1 and global entertainment seeing rapid growth among younger audiences, his involvement will help strengthen the connection between motorsport and mainstream culture.

"Jack is an incredible talent and we are delighted to welcome him to the Formula 1 family," said Stefano Domenicali. "His energy, creativity and passion make him a fantastic addition to our sport. As we continue to grow around the world and reach new fans, partnering with leading voices in entertainment helps us bring the excitement and spectacle of our sport to even more people.

"Jack's involvement will only increase that connection to those audiences and we will look forward to seeing him in the paddock more often."

"Formula 1 is easily one of the most exciting sports in the world," added Whitehall. "The energy, the drama, the sheer scale of it all, it's completely bonkers in the best possible way.

"Being part of the F1 75 event was incredible, and if that's anything to go by, things are only getting bigger and better from here. I've always been a huge fan of the sport and how it brings together sport, entertainment, and culture in a way nothing else really does.

"I'm absolutely buzzing to be working more closely with the team and hopefully getting a bit closer to the action, ideally without being run over."

"I bet there's F1 Comedian Rules notwithstanding the huge potential.

Banned:
Jokes about the Rules, Rule makers, Domaniacali, Ben, Stewards, Penalties, Jewellery, Haircuts, Drivers Girlfriends, Track Limits, the list must be endless.

Lets suggest some, mine would be unprintable.
